Important Safety Information for PV system owners

A rooftop PV system can produce hundreds or thousands of watts of power at any given time, which can be extremely dangerous and even fatal. These are some of the several essential precautions that the owners of a PV system must follow for their own safety

Shutdown Procedure:

01 Avoid touching the panels, and do not put pressure on them. They might break or produce an electrical shock. Do not attempt to carry out any kind of electrical maintenance or repair work on or near your system. Please ensure that only certified personnel undertake any electrical or repair work on the systems.

02 Your Owner’s Manual is in accordance with the Clean Energy Council requirements. In addition to important safety information, it details your PV system, estimated system performance, warranty information, maintenance requirements, commission reports, etc. It is strongly recommended that AusPac Solar Pty Ltd or, if unavailable, another qualified or CEC-accredited installation company carry out any maintenance or system upgrades.

03 Your installed system contains signage including warnings, information on open-circuit and closed-circuit voltages, equipment location details and system shutdown procedure. It is strongly recommended that you acquaint yourself with the signage. This manual is only for Grid Connected PV systems without any battery storage.
